Dr. Tsang has been in practice since 2010, after completing a Minimally Invasive and Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center under the direction of Drs. Dmitry Oleynikov and Corrigan McBride. There, he focused on the treatment of the foregut and obesity.A
Dr. Tsang is a busy surgeon that specializes in all aspects of general surgery. After completing fellowship, he returned back to Toledo, Ohio and developed a busy practice in all aspects of general surgery. Although he practices all aspects of general surgery, he has developed a unique niche in surgery for the foregut. This has provided for the medical and surgical treatment of the reflux and hiatal hernias. He treats over 300 patients per year with reflux and hiatal hernias. He has performed over 1000 minimally invasive anti-reflux procedures since 2010 and has developed the busiest anti-reflux practice in Northwest Ohio.
He is the only surgeon offering the Linx magnetic sphincter augmentation device in the Toledo metropolitan region.
He was one of the first general surgeons to offer robotic surgery in the Northwest Ohio in 2012.
Additionally, he treats malignant and benign diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon.
